About me
The man behind the screen
I’m Todd, 27 year old freelance website designer, husband, dad of two, slightly golf-obsessed and the person behind Semibold. I started the business when I was 19, initially building websites from home, and somehow that has grown into more than 400 websites for businesses across Norfolk, the UK and beyond.
These days, I work from my office at St George’s Works in Norwich.
Alongside client projects, I build and manage my own lead-generation websites. This gives me first-hand experience of researching markets, creating content, improving Google rankings and turning website visitors into genuine enquiries. It means I approach websites from a commercial point of view rather than focusing only on how they look.
A man of simple pleasures
When I’m not working, most of my time is spent with Maddy, our two children and our pets, Mochi and Panko.
Golf occupies far more of my thoughts than it probably should, and I’m regularly attempting to lower my handicap (currently 13.6).
I also play darts for Mattishall Golf Club, enjoy fishing when I get the chance and am always happy when good food is involved.
Running Semibold gives me the freedom to balance work with family life and the things I enjoy, although I’m still capable of becoming far too competitive over either a round of golf or a game of darts.
